Just thought I'd update this...
Midterm Survival Counter: 2/6
Overall Test Survival Counter: 2/9.
Today's midterm... not quite as easy as Physics was. This one while not difficult to do, was a time crunch... 50 mins to do what normally takes me 2 hours... AAAAANNNNND goodluck....
Oh well still think I did pretty well,
Another Down, plus more raindrops,

Long Fun Day Today
Hi All,
Today was fun.
I woke up at 5 in the morning and walked across campus to Elm Hall and went with the Quiz Bowl team to compete at Portland State.
The tournament went well (well better than last time at least =D), and it was followed by dinner and a trip to Powell's book store (massive) in Portland.
We also decided to finally go cruel with our responses to the person who has been erasing/defacing our door's whiteboard for the past 3 weeks. This is going to be a fun week.
Now, I have to get back to work... *Sighs*
Fun 19 hour days on 6 hours of sleep and door whiteboard trolls (pic at bottom of what we did to fight back),
-Stephen
P.S. To the Stolers: When did the Portland Red Lion at Jantzen Beach burn down? We noticed the charred remains on the way down.
As far as the whiteboard goes, some guy has been erasing whatever we put on our door for the past 3 weeks. We've tried claiming to have fake cameras, bribery, extortion, fake bets, etc... this I think takes the cake. We got sick of it, so figured why not have a little fun. That number you see, goes to Schick Shadel Addiction Hospital. We know he's not stupid enough (from our past attempts to stop him) to call it, but we're hoping he might Google search it and get upset. =D.
We're just hoping this doesn't lead to M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction.) But, we'll see about that another time.
BTW: Bonus points if you can spot our room's Wi-Fi password. (It's hidden in plain sight on the board.)

I learned stuff today. =D
Hi All,
I learned a few things today.
1. I learned that if you use Seltzer water instead of regular water in a bottle rocket, you will get twice the propulsion from the same pressure. =D (But, sadly my rocket was outdone by a replication of a Saturn V rocket (the one used to launch Apollo 11), and a replica TARDIS (from Doctor Who), oh a couple of guys a made a Soviet Union themed rocket, which just happened to beat everybody...(Communist Tech is better...???? (just kidding).
2. I learned that NASA finally has something going up to the ISS again. Hooray for SpaceX!
3. I learned that calculators can still fail miserably, especially when compared to Wolfram Alpha. Sad how this world has become hasn't it.
But it has been a fun weekend.
Yesterday, I played (and lost badly to) Boise State in a Quiz Bowl tournament, but it was a lot of fun.
Today we launched bottle rockets. Mine was proudly launched with Pellingrino Seltzer Water as propellent. (I got paid a whopping nothing for that blatant advertisement. =D)
Glad to see cynism isn't truly dead. =D
But... in all honesty, I'm having a great time this year compared to last. It's about time I've found that balance to where I can actually enjoy myself.
